Withdraw from contract

You can withdraw from your purchase right here – no letter, no form to print. You will immediately receive a confirmation email with the time of receipt; it serves as proof that you withdrew in time. Reminder: for purchased photos the right of withdrawal lapses as soon as you download them.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the contract was concluded (for services) or on which you receive the goods (for physical products).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter by post or email) to: Fotowaschbaer, Franz Robert Berger, Feldstrasse 36, 9445 Rebstein, Switzerland, or office@foto-waschbaer.com.

Swiss Consumers

Swiss law does not provide a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, Fotowaschbaer voluntarily extends similar cancellation rights to Swiss customers as described below.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following:

Digital content (photos) once you have downloaded it: by purchasing you agree that the photos are made available before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses with the first download (Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU, § 18 para. 1 no. 11 FAGG). Until then it remains in force.
Printed photos: the prints (15 × 20 cm) are made specifically for you from the images you selected (Art. 16(c) Directive 2011/83/EU, § 18 para. 1 no. 3 FAGG) – there is no right of withdrawal for them. The same applies to other custom-made or personalised products according to your specifications.
Service contracts after the service has been fully performed, if you gave your prior express consent and acknowledged that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the contract was fully performed (Art. 16(a) Directive 2011/83/EU)

Photography Session & Event Cancellations

Cancellation terms for photography sessions and events are communicated when the booking is confirmed. They apply in addition to your statutory rights.

As a general guideline: the earlier a cancellation is made before the scheduled date, the more likely a full refund.

Refund Processing

If you exercise your right of withdrawal or are entitled to a refund under the applicable cancellation policy, we will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. The refund will be issued via the original payment method (Stripe). No fees will be charged for the refund.
